From Legal Strategy to UX

Hi, I'm Yuri. I always ask "why?" before "how?"

I spent years in finance law, analyzing complex systems and building bulletproof arguments. Now I use that same analytical mindset in UX design. Every decision has to be backed by evidence.

I help companies reduce complexity by aligning stakeholders, and ship validated digital products, from strategy to execution. I work with US, European and Latin American teams on a project-fixed or monthly-retainer basis.

I build products that work for users and make business sense. Everything's grounded in research and strategy. I won't ship something unless I know exactly what problem it solves and who it's for.

What really matters to me: making things easier for people. When something I design helps someone work faster or feel less frustrated, that's the win. Your success is my success.

How I Got Here

Started in Finance Law

Spent years in finance, learning to break down complex systems, spot risks, and build airtight arguments. Precision matters when money's on the line.

The Switch

Realized I wanted to solve people problems, not just legal ones. Got into UX and discovered all that analytical training was perfect for evidence-based design.

What's Next

After 2+ years at Virtual Identity AG designing enterprise B2B tools, I now run an independent practice from Munich. I bring the same research-driven approach to every engagement.

How I Work

Evidence Over Guesswork

I don't go with my gut. Every choice is backed by research, data, and testing. If you can't measure it, you can't improve it.

Users Win, Business Wins

Good products don't pick sides. They find where user needs and business goals meet. I connect the qualitative stuff with the metrics to build things that work for everyone.

Ship Fast, Learn Faster

Research is useless if you don't ship. I ship smart, iterate fast, and let real user behavior tell me what to do next.

Keep It Simple

Simple doesn't mean dumbed down. I cut through the noise to find solutions people get instantly and actually enjoy using.
